Russian women are said to be the most beautiful women in the world. They are quite tall, well built and slim. Most of them are fair-haired and white-faced with pink cheeks. Many of them have beautiful large blue or green eyes, sometimes almond shaped. They look pretty when they do not wear too much make up.

The middle class families does not make much money in Russia. Many young people choose to continue their education after finishing school to be able to find a well-paid job in the future. In Russia, the education is of two types: budgetary (free) and chargeable. Only the best students get State grants. Paid education is expensive, and not many middle class families can afford sending their children to the Universities.

But even having a degree, it is very hard to find a well-paid job to a young girl. Employers try not to hire female graduates to avoid paying the obligatory “3 year-paid maternity leave for child’s care”. In addition to this, employers also have to keep a vacant working place for a woman, who may return to the former place of work, when her maternity leave is over. Thus, employers do their best not to hire young girls. Therefore, it is quite common that young people do not work according to their degree.

Few young women live away from parents’ home and are financially independent. Russians have close and very supportive families. Children are allowed to live with parents until they become financially independent or get married.

An average marriage age for Russian girls is 18 - 25 years old. Though, there is a tendency of changing these terms. Most of the times, Russian women get married to the guy of their age. A common age difference is not more that 10 years. Normally, children appear after a few years of marriage. Big families are not popular in Russian. An ordinary Russian family has from 1 to 3 kids.

If a marriage failed, Russian women take the whole responsibility of a child/children most of cases, finding ways to support herself and her children.
